After his victory in Hungary, Vettel will join the eternal best list Formula one legend Ayrton Senna. Only Alain Prost (51) and Michael Schumacher (91).
Vettel wins the Hungarian ring for the first time. This leaves only six races on which he has started in Formula One and has not yet won: the Hockenheimring, Fuji, Spielberg, Indianapolis, Magny-Cours and Sochi.

For the first time since the Brazilian GP 2013 there is no Mercedes-engine driver on the podium. At that time Vettel won in the Red Bull in front of his teammates Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari.
In Hungary also ends a series by Lewis Hamilton: After sixteen podium tours in a row the Mercedes pilot was not present for the first time at a victory ceremony. Hamilton only needed three more podium visits to equalize the record of Schumacher (19).
The Mercedes series of 28 podiums in a row is also finished. Ferrari was still a long way off: Scuderia, with shoemakers from Malaysia-GP 1999 to Japan-GP 2002, created 53 podiums in a row.
Daniil Kvyat, for the first time in his career, is the second youngest driver on an F1 podium with 21 years and 91 days. Younger was only Vettel (21-year-old, Days) at his victory for Toro Rosso at the Italian GP 2008.
With place 2, Kvyat Vitali Petrov replaces as the best Russian Formula One driver. Petrov became 2011 at the Australian GP third.
Red Bull is represented for the first time this season with two drivers on the podium.
