MT Melsungen Ends Mini Crisis

MT Melsungen is back on track in the Handball Bundesliga. After the last two consecutive defeats, the North Hessians won against HC Erlangen with 31:29 (16:16).

The two national players Timo Kastening and Julius Kuhn had a large share of the victory. Outside Casting was eleven times successful, backroom player Cow contributed eight hits to the victory.

At first it did not look like a success of MT. The Franks were well ahead of the first half-time and had made the connection again at 27:27 (57). The best ending, however, was for the Melsungers themselves.

The owls Ludwigshafen missed an important home victory in the meantime. The team of trainer Benjamin Matschke gave a 15:10-break introduction and had to accept the 27:27 against HSG Wetzlar 13 seconds before the end.

The TuSEM Essen also got a good start in his guest game at SC DHfK Leipzig. After a 5:8 (11), Saxons rose and achieved a 26:23 (14:14) success. Food thus remains the last of the class.

Thanks to the seven hits of the Dutch Dani Baijens, the TBV Lemgo Lippe was able to compete with 26:25 (17:12) against the HBW Balingen Weilstetten.
