The newly formed Manor team can continue to hope for a start in this Formula One season.
The successor to the last Marussia race stall that was unable to pay will be listed this year on the official list of names published by the World Motor Association FIA. Manor, however, still has to survive the technical downturn for 2015.
The British will Stevens, who has yet to obtain the necessary license, is the incumbent. The second driver is yet to be announced.
Marussia had gone bankrupt at the end of the previous season and had not been able to participate in the last three races. The previous week the insolvency proceedings had been declared closed.
