Guardiola does not blame FC Bavaria for promoting Sane

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola does not take the FC Bavaria’s interest in Leroy Sane badly.

“I love Bavaria Munich. I appreciate them very much, they have given me an incredible opportunity to work in Germany,”said the 48-year-old coach in Yokohama on a question of his possible disappointment at the continued promotion of the German football record master for National Player Sane.

The Bavarians would like to oblige the 23-year-old. Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic is said to have started negotiations with Sane Employer City about a transfer.

Guardiola had recently said that Sane could go if he wanted to. At the same time, the trainer, who worked for the Munich team from 2013 to 2016, stressed his desire for the player to remain a wingman.

City is seeking an extension of the contract of Sane running until the end of June 2021. Last week Guardiola had also said that there had been no talks with the Bavarians about Sane.

This contradicted Bavarian CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge shortly afterwards with the statement: “I do not know if Pep knows what is going on in his club. I don’t know. Let’s wait and see.”Guardiola took this as well. On an appointment during the English Master’s trip to Japan, he said, “Football is as it is. Sometimes I say things that the other side doesn’t like.”
