The comeback of Arjen Robben at FC Bayern Munich is approaching. The Dutch injured for months completed part of the team training with the German record player on Thursday.
“Arjen is back!” FC Bavaria communicated via its social media channels. The unit was streamed live to Facebook after winning the semi-finals of the DFB Cup at Werder Bremen (3:2). Robben completed the exercises in close coordination with the physiotherapists of the club.
Last time Coach Niko Kovac had expressed a reluctance to return the 35-year-old to the game. Seals do feel “better and optimistic”. He wanted to “not make the situation better than it is”.
Seals last stood at 27. November 2018 in the Champions League group game against Benfica (5:1) on the field. Afterwards, the routines were plagued by thigh and last but not least wadden problems.
