Not without residue, though. In the first training we were a little stronger than in the second. How do we see if we have made a step backwards there.”On the clock, however, it was not visible, because Alonso shortened his delay to the top in the second training by about one and a half tenths of customers.

The only drop in advertising on Friday was a problem driving Vandoorne’s car, which forced the Belgians to watch in the final phase of the second Free Training. We had to stop his car towards the end of the second Free Training because there was a problem with the MGU-H”, Honda Motor Chief Yusuke Hasegawa explains.

Top Ten as a destination for the weekend

However, the Japanese can give an unveiling: “His drive unit was at the end of its life anyway and should be changed scheduled after the second training. With the change we do not expect any punishments.”

Race leader Eric Boullier was also very pleased with the start of his team in Hungary.” It’s nice that both cars were in the top ten at both training sessions. Fernando and Stoffel were very constant in both sessions and ran similar rounds,”says the Frenchman.”The French Nevertheless, I was particularly impressed with Stoffel’s performance today. This shows the progress he has made during the previous races.”

This special job of his boss should further motivate the young Belgian, and Alonso also goes to work through the stronger performance with fresh impetus.” It feels better to be stronger and to be able to fight for the top ten. Then pay more attention to the details,”says the Spaniard.
